Testimonials
After attending my 2nd Steubenville conference, I find myself thinking "I wish I could go back right now!" This year, my experience was not the same as the 1st year - it was definitely better. While at the conference, I not only felt those overwhelming feelings of joy, love & peace, but also a need to keep my faith alive, I learned that those 3 days of worship don't have to end, but I have to become totally committed to God, & that is something I have seriously been working towards achieving. I also realized that sometimes during my life when I follow God, it won't be easy. Decisions will become difficult. But through it all, I will always have God. He is my one true best friend; the one I can count on for anything. He will alwyas listen to me & always love me & I am so grateful to have such an amazing Father. I am working towards growing even closer to God & deeper in my faith, & I hope anyone that has the opportunity to attend Steubenville will take it. Youth Participant
I used to think that I decided to follow Christ my freshman year of High School. So much changed in my life for those three days of my first Steubenville conference, but what I do know is that The Holy Spirit worked in my heart in a way that changed me forever. I encountered a Love that I had never associated with God previously, and it was that desire to love and be loved that convinced me to change my life and develop a relationship with God. This inital surrender to God was life changing and has led me on numerous adventures since, and this journey has taught me that every day I need to make the choice to follow Christ. I can't rely on that one encounter 6 years ago to be sufficient for the call I receive daily. My decision to follow Christ is one I make with joy each day given to me. Service Crew Participant
It was a great pleasure and joy to attend both of the Steubenville North events this year. I attended the Rochester conference as a chaperone, and by seeing the good work being done, and by promptings of the Spirit, signed up to volunteer for this past weekend’s Steubenville North in St Paul. . . I know that the fruits of these weekends will echo in this life, and the joys will be multiplied in heaven.

My favorite part of the entire experience is actually all the building up to Saturday’s adoration. . . When you get to experience a teen saying, ‘I want to be next to Him’, ‘I want to lead others closer to Him’ and ‘I want to be closer’ there is something special about that experience. Christ amongst His church and being adored like a rock star! 2000+ teenagers longing for Christ to be present in their lives and then leaving wanting every single one of their friends and family members to have the same experience. . . That’s why I go to Steubenville youth conferences and encourage others to experience at least one for themselves.

During the Steubenville youth conference, these blessed young people not only had an opportunity to learn about our faith, but also experience the richness of our tradition. They had a positive experience with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, had a wonderful opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and participated in two powerful Liturgies. It doesn’t get much more Catholic that this. And, all of these powerful experiences were woven into the event in an age-appropriate way that steered young people toward active participation in their faith. I was really blown away by the 1250 young people and chaperones! I was equally blown away by the emphasis upon the Mass, Eucharistic Devotion, prayer, confession and witness living and fearless missionary outreach. God bless you for all you do especially for these young people.

History
Beginning in 1999 and coordinated by John Crudele, focus groups, including priests, youth ministers, laity, and representatives from other local Catholic youth organizations were assembled to explore what it would take to make a local youth conference possible. Franciscan University of Steubenville had written letters to the Archbishop of St Paul and Minneapolis and he welcomed them to organize a conference, but there was no local organization willing to take on this huge project. So with the blessing of the Archbishop, John Crudele Presentations partnered with Covenant Ministries, a local non-profit, to host the first two Steubenville North Youth Conferences in St Paul, MN. Upon their success, John Crudele, along with a small group of dedicated faith-filled individuals, formally founded Partnership for Youth, in September of 2002. The goals were to host, support and expand the Steubenville North Youth Conference as well as develop and offer other large, dynamic, Catholic youth conferences and training.
Since its inception in 2002, Partnership for Youth has continued to grow, adding a second Steubenville North Youth Conference in Rochester, MN, as well as developing and hosting a variety of one-day events and trainings, with a record of providing high quality, professionally delivered events and event planning experiences.
Today Partnership for Youth is governed by a Board of Directors and led by Executive Director, Amy Cummings. Amy, along with a small staff and a dedicated core group of volunteers organize and host our various events serving youth in the Midwestern United States and Canada.
