Letter of Suitability

If you are a priest, deacon, or bishop from outside the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis, you will need to send in a letter of good standing/letter of suitability in order to attend the conference.

The letter can be requested by your superior and is required to be sent to us by June 28th.

The letter should include the following criteria:

  • Written on official letterhead and signed by the bishop or approved designated representative (your superior in the community)
  • Letter addressed to Partnership for Youth – Attention: Amy Cummings
  • The letter should state:
    • Name of individual attending
    • That the individual is a Catholic in Good Standing
    • That the individual has been through Safe Environment training, according to your local (arch)diocesan policy
    • That the individual has an approved background check and clearance and approval to work with youth

Parking & Transportation

Friday

If traveling with a group, priests will be dropped off on south campus at the Saint Paul Seminary. Transportation will be provided for priests to and from the main campus all weekend.

If traveling by car without a group, follow the access road off Selby Ave and use R2 & R3 ramps for parking. 

Sunday

Priests will need to check-out and bring their bags to main campus before sessions start Sunday morning. There will be a secure location available for luggage. Priets will load the bus with his group after the last session.

 

Housing

Priests & Transitional Deacons will be housed at St. Paul Seminary, located on the campus of the University of St Thomas. Beddding will be provided at the St Paul Seminary. Priests will receive their room number when they check in at the Seminary.

    Mass Preparation

    Please bring your own vestment and stole.

    You will receive a Liturgy schedule and contact information from our Core Team member who is in charge of the Liturgy.

    Reconciliation Information

    You will receive a Reconciliation schedule and contact information from our Core Team member who assists with Reconciliation.
